Happiness is more about that fleeting spike of dofeme that you get, or sensory pleasure am. The other aspect of happiness is an ancient grecian idea of eudemonia which is about our seeking purpose, self expression. These things are not mutually exclusive, but can be quite a helpful frame a through which to approach thee of happiness.
