i think thinking about it is thathumans have very clear emotional needs. One of them is status, but there is also unaf belonging, security and so forth. But among them, i think the mental need to be engaged in a kind of focal activity matthew crawford calls a focal ative has been forgotten. It's a socital design challenge, and therefore a policy issuean uneducational issue.
