What Is Rain?

Rain begins with water in the ground. Any moisture evaporates when you have temperatures warming. Once that evaporation occurs, you have water vapors and in visible gas. You only begin to see it when the air reaches what's called saturation. A fog bank just means you have too much water in the air. And so eventually some of those droplets of cloud coalesce and form rain drops.
