The Hegemonic Moment
Gramsci says in any politics of the present he says there have to be leaders and led. Hegemonic moment is when some organized political group led by organizers would actually enunciate such a position. Gramsci: Sometimes that might mean to sacrifice some of one's own self interest in order to give stuff to your allies, for example.
