Guns Are a Tough Issue in American Politics
The gun violence crisis will just be beginning after everyone has been vaccinated for COVID, CNN's John Sutter says. The reality is that when you look at all the public opinion polling on these questions, you have 90 plus percent of Democrats who are in favor of gun safety legislation, various kinds. And Republicans, it's not like you flip those things: Like 10% Republicans, like roughly half a Republicans, right? So you got a big majority for gun safety in the country. That is both, you know, male and female, you don't get those kind of numbers in the Democratic party.
