The Challenges of Absenteeism in Schools
Prior to the pandemic schools generally we were in a pretty good place on absence. They then spike considerably and are now at more or less record highs since 2006. The challenges around absence are occurring at the same time as big challenges that schools are facing elsewhere. So addressing the lost learning that's taken place during the pandemic is a key thing that schools continue to struggle with.
