In asam, india, the high conflict is between farmers and elephants. Annually, around 400 humans and about a hundred elephants lose their lives in this conflict. Fully grown asian elephants need a hundred and 50 kilos, that's about 330 pounds. And they need this every single day only five per cent of their natural habitat remains.
