The Land Was Toh Vavoh
The first sentence of the hebrew bible is called 'Waste and wild' The title could be a summary statement for all that follows, or if it's actually the first main action, god making everything. It begins with the land, yes, and it but the land is in a form of chaotic disorder. But then right in the next line, its darkness was over the surface of the deep abyss of the waters. And so who is there hovering in the midst of the dark, chaotic wilderness?
