Hegel: Possessions over things and conflicts over possessions are about needs. How do people manage needs? And how does working create inequalities in people's power? Those inequalities then can lead to struggles, what he calls struggles to the death over property,. He thinks that it's also a negative form of freedom that it can cause pathologies and crises as well.
