" twitch was really moving aggressively into the music space and it was pretty clear that they wanted a lock-up partnerships with people who could bring them curated content," he says. "They made a bunch of really savvy partnerships in very specific niche spaces like they did the rap battle thing they have rolling loud." The company is owned by Amazon, so knowing that they have a vested interest in seeing this succeed gave him an incentive to jump on as soon as possible.
