The Work McKinsey Was Doing for ICE, the American Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency
McKinsey had been working for ICE during the Obama administration. The nature of that work changed quite a bit when Trump became president in January 2017. McKinsey's response, public comment on this was that the work was really more clerical and almost administrative. But what came out later was the work McKinsey specifically did, giving advice to some of the centers that have been set up about cutting food or restricting budgets.
