The Importance of Religion in Psychiatry
In my experience, it is the new agey, non-religious doctors who are least likely to like prescribing psychiatric meds. The only correlation I've observed is that this prescription reluctance is perhaps slightly more common among middle-career doctors. Aren't telemedicine regulations limited with respect to controlled substances by the Ryan Hate Act of 2008, USC 829E? There may be interpretations of this act by the DEA and other agencies, but we're controlled substances are prescribed by means of the internet.
