Engine Surges, Combustion Is Not Necessary
In order for combustion to happen in an engine, you need a good ratio of air to fuel. The plane's nose is probably pointed too high, which means not enough air is getting into the engine because it's approaching a critical angle. And that's why this engine starts surging, whinch sy starts popping fire out of the back. All four people on board were killed, along with one person on the ground.
