Are You Always Saved?

Protestant evangelicals are big into once they've always saved and here's their reason it's wrong but I'm going to explain where they're getting it and what their reasoning is. They say we are saved by grace there's nothing we can do to earn heaven and impress God so that we get heaven because we're sinners. It's a free gift all right since it's free and we didn't do anything to get it therefore there's nothing I can do to unget it or lose it because it's free.
