This episode begins with Teferi on that beach, rattled by the events leading up to this moment. Because he's a time traveler, Teferi can access memories either from a person or an object or even a whole landscape. And visions come to him like memories, like dreams. The catastrophic, bloody, terrible events of the Brothers War, he had witnessed just haunting his sleep.
