In this interview, Kingsley is talking about his own journey writing cataphog. And he says that in order to write this book, he had to descend into what Jung in the Red Book calls the Spirit of the Depths. But when you descend into theSpirit of the depths, it undoes your certainties. It destroys everything you thought was true. There's no way out. You just have to go through it.
