Kigo: I read those books 25 years ago, just specifically on Patrick Melrose. To make it then was an absolute dream. The movie is or the story is really dark. It's essentially about a guy who shoots up heroin left and cocaine right and tries to kill himself. And Teddy told me he wrote this story when he was 27. He knew no one would ever read this stuff if there's not a bit of fun or humor in this. So we treated each episode like its own film, really. We didn't end up mixing formats, but we ended up mixing lenses. A lot of it was kind of discovered in the grade and in the luts and things like that
