The president could let in millions of people legally right now if he wanted to. He has his power of a parole and paroling place where he can basely admit people legally. And some of them can get their green cards, but they can be lawfully present in the united states and work. But presidents almost never do that. It's just like this excuse whertheyr like t they don't want to,. partly for thatrea on trade. The administration doesn't want to push back against trumpism because they think that will politically hurt them.
