Is It Possible to Scale the Hybridization of Animals?

i remember thinking when the iphone came out that a lot of forecast for touch screens, these smart devices like this, will count for, like, i don't know, ten % of the phones in ten yearswas crazy. And i thought, o myself, this device is so powerful, like, they're completely wrong. I do think it could be faster, but it's a huge, huge burden to do it. Still, no matter what, even if they're off by a factor of five, i still think hybridization is going to be really important. But sadly, i think that humanity's addiction to raising animals for food is very strong.
