The Sneaker Net and Its Importance

The sneaker net to which graham refers, is simply humans wearing sneakers. The way viruses were transferred was by people physically sharing floppy disks. And so experts were skeptical towards viruses because they never saw any. It was only as the personal computer revolution began to pick up speed that it became obvious that viruses could and did pose a real threat to computer users.
