Warren Buffett's Investing Approach in Japan
Warren Buffett once said there are not very many good businesses in Japan. The comments were made during a speech he gave at the University of Florida three months after I took my first job to invest in Japan. When we walked out of the office and said, let's say we find something to do, who should we call? And he said, look around here. You see anybody else? You can call me. I'll give you an answer in 48 hours. It's amazing. They had an incredible market without incredible companies.
