The Importance of Women in the Gospels

I mean, does it come back down to the fact that the people who have given us these eyewitness accounts that are later kind of canonized in the Bible are men? And that men of that time, even though Jesus is encountering these women in such radical kind of personal ways, then men are, they don't see them in the same way of like value or honor. Like, it takes a while for the disciples to catch up to what Jesus is modeling in terms of his own interactions with women. Yeah. He's also in that moment with Mary saying like, you can stand on your own two feet and receive teaching directly from me, your rabbi. I've always thought of that story
