Sally Kohn: I want to get some more differences out from you by comparing them in different ways. One of the easiest ones obviously is delayed versus instant gratification. Do you feel like having a source of instant gratification or having a creative outlet that also gives you instant gratification? It helps you with the stuff that doesn't instantly gratify, she says. She advises any writer to go find something that gives them instant gratification. But can I tell you that my theory about why people don't like writing? Like writers all complain about how awful it is to write. Art is never complain about how terrible paint, like I have to go paint now. They never say that. Salkin
