David Yor: We should be clear about what consequentialism is for ourselves and our audience. He says there are universalr universal rules about agency that makes it so that there are rules that should be upheld independent of consequences, like don't murder innocent people. But he argues the burden has to shift on you to maximize any number of actions that might violate a rule such as not murdering an innocent person.
