The Battle of Castracum

The french and british negotiated an agreement that allowed the allied forces to withdraw under very favorable terms, including keeping the ships they had captured from the dutch. In chaos and confusion, the allies lost something like 13 thousand killed, captured or wounded. And the russians were now in full flight out of the mountains. As a consequence of the invasion of the batavian republic, the austrian and russian forces down in switzerland and italy were shuffled around.
