Promise Over Peace

The story of the people with the enemy behind them and the sea before them is one that's actually just kind of stuck on me. Because this image for me represents the contrast in my own life of promise and of a life of peace. The peace they felt required no risk and ultimately no cost, all cost actually. Peace says you know how to ignore the nudging of something that tells you there could be a greater destiny ahead of you. And for you, that's peace.
