How to Make Buildings Active Players in the Energy System
There is a climate imperative to electrify and decarbonize our buildings, says Dr. Michael Schumacher. We need to look at buildings as potential active players in the energy system, he adds. Most of buildings can produce at least part of the energy they need - but many more can produce more. Smart grids can communicate to a building through software algorithms and smart controls, writes Schumachers.
