A few weeks after that, on April 19, 1993, Michelle was back on campus watching the news coverage as the Branch Davidian compound caught fire. She met Tim McVay at an anti-gun control rally in Waco, Texas. He told her he thought the government was too involved in our lives and had a completely different perception of the government.
