How to Use Inertial Sensors for Indoor Navigation
For indoor navigation you need to have at least two ideally probably three access points that are supporting this new standard. Inertial sensors can be used for relative positioning okay did you take a step did the phone turn and in between that you can track these sensors. The power cost of those sensors is like 10 to 100 X cheaper than like the Wi-Fi scans and the GPS scan so as these technologies improve we can not only provide a more continuous location out of the various APIs that I'm sure we'll talk about but it kind of improves all around user experience now.
