The Heinrich Schliemann Story
Heinrich schliemann was a self made millionaire hustler who later in life re invented himself as the nineteenth century's best known archaeologist. His great talent was taking credit for the careful work of others and using it as the basis for his own ckless, but attention grabbing hunt for ancient treasures. Schliemann also got away with a number of high profile archaeological deceptions that were only revealed many decades after his death.
