Gardiner lindsey was a former president of the american psychological ass ation. He worked on incest taboos, but in the sixties he began to see that genetics was important. To lure him from harvard, the university of texas at austin asked, what would you like? What can we give you? And he said he'd like to hire all the behavil genetics in the world, which was about six people. So they had this excellent programme in behavial genetics. Not one of them went on to become interested in behavional genetics. Oh, it's an example the idiosyncratic experiences that are so important in our lives. That is the environment works
