Jack Chick: The Most Widely Read Theologian
Jack Chick, the main writer and cartoonist behind these tracts, died in 2016 after a life so reclusive that only a handful of photographs of him exist. If nearly a billion of his tracts sent all over the world even into the most remote regions translated into more than a hundred languages, it has been speculated that Jack could be the most widely read theologian in human history. Not like many horror movies, they can also become unintentionally campy and easy to make fun of.
