The Three Orders of Life
The three orders are body, mind and heart. These sort of inform Pascal's thinking throughout in lots of different ways. A devout person will know God through the heart but would also use their mind to praise themselves for Christianity. And similarly the other forms of knowledge have their place in the religious life.
