What Is Your Metaphysics?
Alex Gomez-Marine from the Institute of the Neurofia in Alicante, staying. He asks: What is your metaphysics? Namely, could you make explicit the philosophical commitments underlying your scientific thinking? I'm not sure I'm going to have a satisfying answer and I'll tell you in part why. See, he used his hierarchical brain processing to ask an abstract question. So basically what charml-almers call the easy problems. But it's clearly an easy problem approach to that question. It seems to me that materialism, broadly construed, still remains a desperate attempt to understand that four-letter work we call the mind.
