"There's so much preconceived notions around what an addict looks like or even just with like the opiate issues in the country," she says. "I didn't have anybody really that I could look to when I was struggling." She adds: "If you meet and actually have a conversation with some of these people who are struggling in high addiction, they come sometimes from good families".
