How to Survive With Young Kids and Their Own Boundaries
The younger your kids are, the more kind of rigid their physical needs are. That can make it hard to be spontaneous when you have a screaming two year old like that. But if everyone's in a good place, it does lead to more room. At 12 and ten, my kids know sort of their own limits. They know what they're giving up if they stay up super late for a movie night. And maybe because that's the way tat's the way i talk about things, but i think they do.
