Introduction

In May of 1498, explorer John Cabot set sail from Bristol, England with five ships. He had gained renown the previous year when he had dared to head into the unknown Northern Atlantic on a mission of discovery. We will examine Cabot's first attempts at exploration, including his journey to North America,. Then ponder what may have happened to the man on his mysterious final voyage to the new world.
