The Disproportionality of Asian Americans Being Religious
When you are an immigrant coming to a new country for the first time, church is a way for you to get plugged into your community. It's a way to meet other immigrants who are kind of in the same place you are. And it tends to have inclusive values, depending on what church you're going to. When I look at Asian law, I think a lot of the times the law is there in almost a paternalistic way to teach you what being a good person is.
