I did okay in my GCSEs, but my A levels were pants, really. I ended up in Everest with doing theology, which is what I wanted to do as a university degree. My brother was actually doing the same degree at Oxford at the same time. And I didn't want to be inferior to him in any way, shape or form. So I had to do seven different courses in my first year as opposed to six - including ancient Greek. And I did actually manage to pass and get onto the Bachelor of Divinity course. When the building was sold and the college ended up moving to Lampeda, I was the only person who actually in the history of the college managed
