I wrestle a little with the garden to city portrayal. I think it's an important metaphor, but it's not an exhaustive metaphor as metaphors don't tend to be. But does that mean that every aspect of the city is better than what was in the garden? I would say no. Not every aspect. In other words, the work that was given to Adam and Eve was intended to be a bettering work. And so like bringing order out of chaos. Yes, a bettered work. Does that mean that grace gets better or goodness gets better? You know what I'm saying? Like God's goodness and grace don't get better just because humans are bringing order from chaos. They
