The Problem With Disability Theology

Disability theology can quickly become a form of colonialism, or what I prefer to call it, identity hijacking. We need to cast off the false god of the disabled perspective within disability theology because there is no such thing as the disabled perspective. People with disabilities are all unique and have a vast range of views and experiences on many different issues. My fear is that the narrative identities of many disabled people will continue to be hijacked by those who yell the loudest.
