Wearing the Cross Is a Reminder to Always Be Reaching for That Relationship
The idea that wearing the cross is a way of being, you know, Mormon rebellious specifically. That just fills me with glee. So I have some really good reasons and some reasons that are probably less defensible but not surprising. For me, it's this visual representation of the larger God that I'd spent my life yearning for and that I'm beginning to forge a relationship with now. The old language of Mormonism had never really worked to describe what I was experiencing. Now I saw something new and grabbed that for myself. It was a rebirth. Number four is less big. Let's be honest. No one is surprised by this: I'm super rebellious.
