The Last Champagne Flight
The idea of the champagne flight is that shot down pilots get a chance to go back up in the air and they're greeted on the flight line by friends and family. Can you explain what it was like when Ken did his do where and when was it? I was not with him. We had been stationed in Holloman Air Force place in Alamabordo, New Mexico. Mike was just a teeny tiny baby and Susan was in school.
