Carlo: I want to explore the landscape of these widely diverse explanations or thoughts about consciousness. So please keep responses concise so we can have good interaction. Let's begin our themes we have three themes much to cover. And I'm going to start with the opposite ends of the spectrum as we talked about before. Pat, do you distinguish between materialism or physicalism, depending on our definition, and aluminum materialism? Carlo: If a dualist has some data that are really convincing at the moment, though, it does seem that we can learn quite a lot about ourselves by looking at the brain.
