The Importance of a Transformative Moment
In her third year of Greek we were reading some Sapho and other archaic, so the older lyric poets. She asked me to translate the second number two poem of Sapho because she said she didn't like the translation that were available. And that was the lightning striking moment because really my life changed after that.
