The Importance of the Arts in Postmodernity

Q&A with Bishop Mako: "I had to create a haiku here" I would love to hear you expand on the why the arts are important if that is true thank you one of the great things about postmodernity is that we have got away from the modernist idea in which the arts were the pretty bit around the edge but reality was kind of brutal and concrete. We are recapturing a sense of art as a genuine window into the very heart of things  a way of saying things a way of knowing things which is not reducible to speech or other forms.
