Is There a Tipping Point in the Amazon?

Deforestation has increased by about sixtyt ven, 70 % on an annual rate since jaer bolsnar took office. Scientists and indigenous organizations are saying that we may have already passed a tipping point where vast swaths of the rain forest may no longer recover. Big picture is scientists see the amazon as being approaching a tipping point, but parts amasare much at a higher risk of tipping than the entire ecosystem at this point time.
