The Desires of the Flesh Are Evil and Dangerous

The flesh is seen as that part of human nature which is without the holy spirit and in the sway of sin. Flesh is man in rebellion without god, without the spirit. So it makes the desires of the flesh evil and dangerous when they cross over from being innocent to serving a rebellious human self. The reason such renegade, untethered, insubordinate, sovereign desires wage war against soul is that the life of the soul is found in being satisfied with god.
