The Importance of Saint John of the Cross

The writing of Saint John of the Cross has had a very strong effect on me. He's an absolute cartographer of the spiritual journey, he knows exactly where you are at a given time of your life and suggests where you can go next. Guru Mai was important to you, or has been a woman to you. Is she still? She certainly is in, not in the sense that I see her, because it's almost impossible now to visit her ashram,. But she had such a profound effect on my life. And so changed me that she's always inside me.
