The Journey of a Veteran
Rosanne Jones: My journey really began in 1964 when I was diagnosed with psoriasis. She went to a VA hospital and got x-rays that showed she had ankylosing spondylitis, which is common among African Americans. Rosanne says her life with it has been bittersweet because on the one hand, you have this unpredictable body that's been pain most of the time. But on the other hand, it's made me really resilient. And I've learned a lot about myself.
